We absolutely loved every minute!

Hello,

Our 4th and 5th class completed your Road to Beijing Challenge and we absolutely loved every minute of it. I’ve attached some pictures of some of the activities we did over the last two weeks. Some of these activities include making the Olympic torch, designing a bobsled, designing a skier, playing curling, making a figure skater spin using magnets, making Olympic medals, Olympic Rings and icon art and last but not least we made the Wall of China in 4th class using foam bricks. We haven’t finished our Great Walls yet but I will be sure to send on a picture when we do. To finish the challenge off on Friday we took part in different PE stations with our classes. We had a hockey station, a relay station and we used lots of your brilliant PE ideas which you had on the Dare to Believe website. Thank you so much for allowing our school, Scoil an Chlochair to take part. We really enjoyed it and have learned so much about the Winter Olympics over the past two weeks.
